How to operate the Auxo Workshop Mobile App

🚀 Getting Started

📥 Download the App

First you will need to download the Auxo Workshop Mobile app from the app store for your device:

🔑 Log In

  1. Open the Auxo Workshop Mobile app on your mobile device.

  2. Log in to your account.

📝Note: The Auxo Mobile app is designed for Technicians. To access your job list and time clocking, ensure your profile in Auxo Workshop has the "Can be Allocated to Jobs" setting enabled.

🧭 General Navigation

  • Top Navigation Bar: Shortcuts to your notifications and other important alerts. The Auxo icon will also return you to the Home screen.

  • Bottom Navigation Bar: Shortcuts to navigate to the Home screen, Jobs list, and Clock (time-clocking).

🏠 Home

On the Home screen, you will find the Today's Work tile, showing a summary of the jobs lined up for today, with a progress indicator. Click to open your job list for today.

📝Note: The Auxo Mobile app is designed for Technicians. To access its key features, ensure your profile in Auxo Workshop has the "Can be Allocated to Jobs" setting enabled. This way, you'll see all the jobs assigned to you when you log in.

📋 Jobs

The Job list is opened by clicking the Today's Work tile (shown above) or clicking the Jobs icon on the bottom navigation bar.

This lists a summary of all jobs assigned to you, including vehicle details, job status, job number, and basic details of the work required.

Click on any job to open the job details screen for the selected job.

🔍 Job Details Screen

After selecting a job from the job list, you’re shown the details of the selected job:

  • Customer: Click the Customer section to view/edit customer details

  • Vehicle: Click the Vehicle section to view/edit vehicle details

  • Readings: Click the Readings section to view/edit the vehicle’s readings (odometer, service due dates, etc.).

  • Services: Displays the list of services on the job, estimated duration, and assigned technician.

    • Click on a service to see more details.

    • After clicking on a service, you can:

      • Swipe a part line to edit or delete.

      • Click "Add Part" to add a new part.

      • Enter part details manually or scan the barcode and if it matches the barcode of a the part is your inventory, its description etc. will appear.

  • Time Clocking

    • The green bar at the bottom of the job details screen is for Time Clocking

    • Click "Start" to clock into the current job.

    • Once clocked in, the time clocking bar turns blue and displays a timer with the duration clocked into the current job

    • Clicking into this blue bar, you can then choose to either complete your time entry (clock off) or pause.

      • If you pause, you will be prompted to enter the reason you are pausing the job.

📝 Notes for Time Clocking:

  • You can clock into a job or a specific section of a job.

  • You must stop or pause your current job to clock into another.

  • Clocking into a specific section ensures the labour charge is assigned correctly.

  • You cannot clock-in to an invoiced job.

  • Job Notes: Click "Notes" at the bottom to add internal notes.

💡Tip: Use the microphone for voice-to-text to save time and reduce spelling errors when adding Internal Notes.

  • History: Click "History" at the bottom to view the vehicle's service history.

🚧 Coming Soon - Images! The ability to take and attach photos to a job.

⏲️ Clock (Time Clocking)

By clicking into the Clock button (in the bottom navigation bar), you can view all paused and in-progress jobs, resume them, or clock off.

🚫 Limitations of the Mobile App

  • Cannot add jobs and customers

  • Can only view existing jobs.

These functions will need to be completed in Auxo Workshop using a web browser on your on your PC, laptop, or tablet.
