Clear Trial Data - What is Kept & What is Removed

To help prepare for your go live, this article explains what data will be retained when you 'clear trial data' from your trial system.

During your trial or when upgrading to the paid plan, you can clear trial data - or this may be done on your behalf by our data team when we're preparing data for your 'go live', as described in our article How to Clear Trial Data.

This article details exactly what is cleared and what is retained.

🧹 What gets deleted?

The following data types are removed when the Clear Trial Data process is run:

Jobs and financial records

  • Jobs

  • Estimates

  • Online bookings

  • Invoices

  • Payments

  • Credit notes

  • Time sheets

  • Tags

Customers and vehicles

  • Customers

  • Vehicles

  • Reminders

  • Vehicle data check history

  • Communication history

Parts, suppliers and stock

  • Suppliers

  • Parts

  • Purchase orders

  • Stocktakes

Selected setup and configuration

  • Pricing Matrix

  • Categories (parts, customer and supplier)

  • Communication templates

  • Fixed services

  • Non‑active staff


✅ What stays intact?

Some data is retained to preserve manual setup and configuration:

  • Staff

    • ⚠️Note: Dummy staff (e.g. Spanners McGee) are not automatically removed but can be removed on request, just reach out via the Messenger and ask for a human agent.

  • Saved Filters

  • Setup > Workshop Details

  • Setup > Invoice Settings

  • Setup > Online Booking Settings
