Track movements and transactions for any part using the Part History section.

πŸ“– What is Part History?
Part History is a log of all movements for a part, displayed at the bottom of the Edit Part screen. It helps you trace transactions such as:

  • Stock received on purchase orders

  • Stock sold on customer invoices

  • Supplier credits

  • Customer credits

  • Stock adjustments


πŸ” Where to find it

  • Go to Inventory β†’ Parts

  • Select a part to open Edit Part

  • Scroll to Part History at the bottom

πŸ“Š Part History List - Column Definitions:

  • Type – the movement category (e.g., Stock Received, Stock Sold)

  • Reference – the linked job, invoice, order, or credit (click to open)

  • Quantity – units moved in the transaction

  • Quantity On Hand – updated on-hand after the transaction

  • Total Cost – cost posted for the movement

  • Total Charge – charge posted (where applicable)

  • Date – transaction date

  • Notes – any notes saved with the transaction

  • Updated By – the user who made the change
