π Introduction
You may be more familiar with the name "Job Kit", "Standard Job" or "Job Template" as a set of labour, parts, outwork and text to be quickly added to a job. In Auxo Workshop we have two different options, Smart Templates and Fixed Services.
We have an intelligent, automated feature in Auxo Workshop called Smart Templates, where the system learns the type of services you have previously used on specific makes and models of vehicles and recommends these services when working on a similar make/model in future jobs.
However, you can also set up your own Fixed Services to be easily added to jobs. This is particularly useful if you advertise services on a pricing menu, and need to be able to select that menu service specifically.
Here's how you can set up your own Fixed Services.
π οΈ Setup
Navigate to the Fixed Service setup screen by clicking Settings in the left side menu and selecting Templates.
The Templates setup is split into two separate sections: Communications Templates and Fixed Services. Click the Fixed Services button at the top of the screen to navigate to the Fixed Services setup screen.
π Fixed Services Setup Screen
On the left side of the Fixed Services setup screen is a list of tiles showing all of your existing Fixed Services, displaying the name, estimated duration, and total price.
Each Fixed Service has a three-dot icon. Clicking this icon gives you the option to Copy or Delete.
The Copy option can be used to easily replicate the content of an existing Fixed Service, saving time on data entry, so you just have to make whatever small changes are necessary.
βοΈ Editing a Fixed Service
Clicking on any of the Fixed Service tiles will display the details of the selected Fixed Service on the right side of the screen.
Here, you can edit the Service Name, Estimated Hours, add line items, and add an invoice note.
π Creating a New Template
Above the list of existing Fixed Services is a New Template button. Click this to create a new template.
Alternatively, use the Copy option on an existing template to use it as the basis for creating a new one.
On the New Template screen - enter a Service Name, Estimated Hours, Add Line Items (labour, parts or outwork) and an invoice note.
When you're done click the Create button at the bottom to create, or click Cancel to cancel.
π§ Adding Fixed Services to a Job
When adding a service to a job, the Fixed Services will appear at the top of the list.
