Create, rename, recolour, and delete tags from one central screen, so your tag list stays clean as your workshop grows.
Job tags help you organise and filter your Workboard and Job List at a glance. This screen gives you a single place to manage the full set of tags available to use on jobs, rather than creating them one at a time from individual job records.
๐งช Beta Release: This change is currently in beta testing and is only available to select customers included in the beta. It will proceed to full release pending beta feedback.
๐งญ Where to Find Tag Management
Go to Settings > System Configuration
Click the Categories tab
Click Tags to expand the section and see your full tag list
๐ Viewing and Searching Your Tags
Once expanded, your tags are listed alphanumerically, along with a search box below.
Type any part of a tag's name into the search box to filter the list. The search isn't case-sensitive and matches text anywhere in the tag name, not just the start
Use the page numbers and the / page dropdown at the bottom of the list to move through your tags or change how many show at once (10, 20, 50, or 100)
๐ Note: The Total X items count at the bottom reflects your search results, not your full tag list. If you've searched for something, this number will be smaller than your total tag count.
โ Creating a New Tag
Click New Tag to add a tag from this screen. This uses the same tag creation steps covered in Using Tags in Auxo Workshop, where you can name the tag and choose its colour.
๐ Note: Your workshop can have up to 200 tags in total. Once you reach this limit, the New Tag button is greyed out, and hovering over it shows a message letting you know you've reached the maximum.
โ๏ธ Editing a Tag
Click the pencil icon next to any tag to open Edit Tag
Update the tag's name or colour, then click Confirm to save your changes, or Cancel to leave it as it was
โ ๏ธ Important: Any change you make here updates the tag everywhere it's currently used across your workshop, including on any jobs it's already applied to.
๐๏ธ Deleting Tags
You can delete one tag at a time, or several at once.
To delete a single tag, click the bin icon next to it
To delete more than one, tick the checkbox next to each tag you want to remove. A Remove (X) button appears above the list, showing how many you've selected
Click Remove, then confirm on the warning that appears
โ ๏ธ Important: Deleting a tag removes it from every job it's currently applied to, across your whole workshop. This can't be undone.
๐ Default Tags You Can't Edit or Delete
Auxo Workshop includes a set of default tags on every account, such as Customer Waiting, Waiting for Parts, Satisfied Customer, Payment Due, On-Hold, Urgent, and Waiting for Approval. These show with a greyed-out checkbox and don't have edit or delete icons next to them, so they can't be renamed, recoloured, or removed.
Any tag you create yourself can be edited or deleted at any time.
