How to Edit or Create a Communications Template

How to set up reusable emails & SMS messages that can be sent quickly to one or more customers; such as booking or service reminders..

In Auxo, you can easily customise and create reusable communication templates for reaching out to your customers via SMS or email!

Setting up templates in advance saves time and eliminates the need to write messages from scratch each time. For example, once you’ve created a Booking Reminder template, you can quickly select it from your saved options and send it to your customer with just a few clicks.

Here's how...

  • Navigate to Settings Communication in the side-menu

  • To create a new template, click the + New Template button and select whether it will be an SMS or Email template you are creating

💡Time Saving Tip: You can select an existing template and click Save as a New Template to save time if you have an existing template similar to the one you want to create!

Fill in the required fields to set up your template:

Setup tips:

  • Category: The Category will determine from which area of the program this template will be available

  • Mark As Default: This will set this template as the default for the chosen category

  • Placeholders: Placeholders are used to personalise the message, for example the @CompanyName placeholder will repopulate with the company name of the customer the message is being sent to.

    • Refer to some of the existing templates for examples of how placeholders are used

  • SMS Message Replies: Customers can reply to SMS messages sent from Auxo, so it's a good idea to mention this in your SMS templates.
