Standard use and controls on various list screens in Auxo Workshop

Updated over a month ago

Many screens in Auxo Workshop display lists with common controls and features. Let's explore these features to help you navigate and use them effectively.

Search πŸ”

Most list screens have a search field. The search box usually contains light grey text indicating which fields it will search through when you type in your terms.

Filters πŸ—‚οΈ

Filters help you narrow down the results shown in the list. These can be date ranges or options related to the information displayed.

  • Adding Filters: Each filter you add appears below the search and filter options. You can remove individual filters by clicking the "X" next to them.

  • Saving Filters: After adjusting filters to display your desired items, you can save the filter. For example, in your Invoice list, you might save a filter for all overdue invoices over $1000. Next time, simply select from your Saved Filters.

  • Default Filters: When saving a filter, you can set it as the 'default'. This means the filter will automatically apply the next time you open the same list screen.

  • Clear All: Use the "Clear all" option on the right-hand side to remove all search and filter settings.

Export to CSV πŸ“„

Clicking the Export to CSV button will export a CSV file containing all the information you are currently displaying in the list (with the filters applied).

Columns πŸ“Š

Clicking the Columns button lets you edit which columns are displayed. Note that some columns (greyed out) cannot be removed.

Column Headings πŸ”ΌπŸ”½

You can click on many column headings (those with up and down arrows) to sort the list by that column. Click the heading again to sort in reverse order.

Reorder Columns ↔️

You can click a column heading and drag it left or right to rearrange the columns. However, not all columns can be rearranged.

πŸ’‘Handy Tip: When you rearrange columns and save the filter, the column order is also saved. Next time you open this saved filter, it will display columns in the saved order.
