How to find and edit customer details.

Editing customer details in Auxo Workshop is a straightforward process. Follow the steps below to update customer information.

Steps to Edit Customer Details

  1. In the Side Menu on the left side of the screen, click Contacts then click Customers.

  2. This opens the Customer List.

  3. Use the search field provided to search for the customer by name (which can be company name, first name, or last name), email, or contact number.

  4. Once you find the customer, click their name to open their details. You will see the Edit Customer screen.

Customer Details Section

In the Customer Details section, you can see the name, contact number, and email address. Click the "..." button to see the following options:

  • 😊 Edit Customer Details: Opens the edit customer details screen where you can:

    • Enable the option to set this customer as a 'company', and an additional 'company name' field will be displayed (if this toggle is deselected, the customer is set as an individual).

    • Edit the first name, last name, mobile number, phone number, email address, and account number.

  • πŸ“§ Send Email: Opens the Send Email screen to select a communication template and email the customer.

  • πŸ“± Send SMS: Opens the Send SMS screen to select a communication template and email the customer.

  • πŸ—„οΈ Archive Customer: Archives the customer, hiding them from various screens that list your customers.

Additional Customer Details Section

πŸ’Ό Here you can edit their Billing Address, GST number, GST Rate, and Terms of Payment.

Notes Section

πŸ“ To record notes against the customer account.

Vehicles Section

Lists any vehicles owned by the customer. Against each vehicle, you can click the "..." button to access the following options:

  • πŸš— Edit Vehicle Details: Displays the edit vehicle details screen.

  • 🚫 Remove Ownership: Removes the current customer as the owner of the vehicle. This will leave the vehicle in your system, but it will no longer be attached to this specific customer as the owner.

  • πŸ› οΈ View Service History: Displays the service (job) history of the selected vehicle.

  • πŸ“„ Go to Vehicle Page: Opens the full vehicle details page of the selected vehicle in a new tab.

  • βž• Also, in the Vehicles section, you have the + New Vehicle button enabling you to add a new vehicle for this customer.

Communication History Section

πŸ“œ This section displays a log of any email or SMS messages sent to the current customer.
