How to send service reminders, informing your customer that a service is due for their vehicle.

Service Reminders are handy notifications you send to customers to remind them about routine services or scheduled vehicle safety inspections (like Warrant of Fitness or COF). Think of it as a gentle nudge to help them remember their upcoming service due dates and encourage them to book with your workshop.

Why Use Service Reminders?

  • Keeps your customers informed and on top of their vehicle maintenance.

  • Helps you manage your workshop schedule more efficiently.

💡Pro Tip: If you have Online Bookings enabled, you can include a link to your booking page in the reminder message. This makes it super easy for customers to book their service right away!

Steps to Send Reminders:

  1. Open the Reminders List:

    • Click Job Management in the side menu.

    • Select Reminders from the expanded Job Management section.


  2. View and Filter Reminders:

    • The reminders list will display all vehicles with reminder due dates.

    • Use the onscreen filters to show reminders due within a specific date range.

    • Tip: Save filters for quick access. A suggested filter is:

      • Reminders due in the next 30 days.

      • Status: “Not Actioned.”

      • Active Job: “Not Active.”


  3. Select Reminders to Send:

    • Tick the checkbox beside each reminder you wish to send.

    • Or, click the square checkbox at the top to select all.

  4. Send Reminders:

    • Click the Email or SMS button at the top of the screen.

    • Check and confirm the recipient list and click Next

    • Choose the vehicle reminder template you wish to send

    • Click Send
