Auxo Workshop lets you attach photos to Jobs and Estimates, making it easier to document vehicle issues, repairs, parts fitted, and more.
💡 Why use Photos?
Record evidence of issues on customer vehicles
Document repairs or work completed
Show parts fitted or supplied
Attach photos of supplier invoices or order confirmations
🔍 Where to find the Photos feature
You’ll find the Photos button in the top section of both the Edit Job and Edit Estimate screens (whether the top section is expanded or not).
If photos are already attached, a small blue circle will show the number of images.
Click the Photos button to open the Photos screen.
🖼️ Using the Photos screen
At the top of the Photos screen is the Image Preview & Notes:
Shows a large preview of the selected photo.
Add notes related to the image in the notes field.
Use the left/right arrows to browse through images.
Click the rubbish-bin icon (🗑️) to delete the selected photo.
Below the Image preview is the Thumbnail Gallery
Displays all attached images as thumbnails.
Click any thumbnail to preview it.
Click the Add Image button to upload a new photo.
You can also drag and drop an image file directly into the preview area to upload.
📝 Note: If no images are attached yet, the preview area will prompt you to click or drag and drop a photo to upload.
🔄 Switching between Job and Estimate images
At the top left of the Photos screen, you’ll see Job and Estimate tabs, each showing the number of attached images.
If you're viewing an Estimate:
Estimate tab shows images attached to the current estimate.
Job tab shows images from any Jobs for the same vehicle in the last month.
If you're viewing a Job:
Job tab shows images attached to the current job.
Estimate tab shows images from the estimate this job was converted from.
Click either tab to switch between the sets of images.
📧 Emailing Photos from a Job
When sending an email from a Job (e.g. Proforma Invoice or final Invoice):
Click the Attachments link in the Send Email screen.
You’ll see all photos attached to the job available to include in the email.
📝 Note: If you add other attachments manually in the Send Email screen, they won’t be saved as Photos on the Job.
