Auxo Workshop and SmartCheck Pro are web-based platforms, which means you can access them from most modern devices with an internet connection.
Here's what you need to know to get the best experience across Auxo Workshop, the Auxo Workshop Mobile app and SmartCheck Pro.
💻 Device Compatibility
Each product is designed to work best on certain devices. The table below shows what is supported for each:
| Desktop | Tablet | Phone |
Auxo Workshop (web app) | Supported | Supported | Not supported |
Auxo Workshop Mobile app | Not applicable | Supported | Supported |
SmartCheck Pro | Supported | Supported | Supported |
🖥️ Resolution
For Auxo Workshop on desktop, laptop or tablet, a minimum screen resolution of 1536 x 864 (16:9) or higher is recommended. This does not apply to the Auxo Workshop Mobile app or SmartCheck Pro.
📝 Note: Auxo Workshop is designed for larger screens, which is why phones aren't supported for the web app. For workshops wanting to use a phone day to day, the Auxo Workshop Mobile App is built for that purpose and is available for both iOS and Android.
🌐 Browser
For the best experience with Auxo Workshop and SmartCheck Pro, use the latest version of Google Chrome.
⚠️ Important: Other browsers may work, but some features, particularly supplier integrations, might not function correctly outside Chrome.
Third party browser extensions can also occasionally interfere with how a page behaves. If something isn't working as expected, try disabling extensions or testing in an incognito window before contacting support.
Auxo Workshop is accessed at workshop.auxosoftware.com.
SmartCheck Pro is accessed at smartcheckpro.com.
📶 Connectivity
A stable internet connection is required to use Auxo Workshop and SmartCheck Pro. Make sure WiFi coverage is strong throughout the workshop, including any areas where devices are used regularly.
If a device is likely to be used outside WiFi range, choose one that also takes a SIM card and add a data plan. This keeps things running smoothly wherever the device is being used.
💡 Tip: Workshop equipment can sometimes interfere with WiFi signal, particularly welding equipment and microwaves. Where possible, keep your router away from welding bays, heavy machinery and the staff microwave, and position it somewhere central and unobstructed to get the best coverage.
If pages are slow to load or changes aren't saving, check your internet connection first before anything else.
📱 Choosing a Device for the Mobile App and SmartCheck Pro
If you are buying a device to use with the Auxo Workshop Mobile app or SmartCheck Pro, here are a few things worth considering:
Camera: A device with a good rear camera makes it easier to capture clear, close up photos and scan barcodes. At a minimum it should have an 8MP rear camera with autofocus.
Case: A rugged case with a back hand strap helps protect the device and makes it easier to hold and carry around the workshop.
Memory: If you are comparing a few options, a device with more memory will generally feel smoother under everyday use, however we recommend 8GB minimum.
