Ah, the calendar—the heartbeat of every well-oiled workshop! Whether you’re a seasoned mechanic or a curious apprentice, the Auxo Workshop Calendar will help keep your schedule organised.
The Calendar in Auxo Workshop is where you can see a Weekly or Daily view of the work scheduled in, and using simple drag-n-drop to allocate work to technicians or move jobs around the calendar to specific day or time slots.
The Online Booking Scheduler is only visible in the side menu if this addon is activated in Settings. It will also not display for users assigned to the Basic User role. Read More in the How to Set up Online Bookings article.
What Can You Do in the Calendar?
Weekly or Daily Views: Imagine peering through a garage window into the week ahead or zooming in on the nitty-gritty of today’s hustle. Our calendar offers both views, so you’re always in the driver’s seat. Use the buttons on the top right to toggle between Daily & Weekly:
Drag, Drop, and Allocate: Need to assign a job to a tech? Simply drag it onto their column in the Daily View, or drag jobs to different days on the Weekly View.
Open the Job: If you want to view the full detail of a job, simply click the Job Number. We have a full article on how to manage jobs titled Adding and Editing Bookings/Jobs.
Quick View of Booking and Pickup Time: If you hover your mouse over the key icon within a booking in the Weekly and Daily Views, a popup will display the booking time and pickup time of the job.
Daily and Weekly Views
Daily View
The Daily View will show you all jobs for the selected day, separated into individual columns for each technician.
You can drag and drop bookings to different technicians and time slots or click the edge of a booking to stretch it out to a larger timeframe.
You also have a column for Unallocated Jobs at the far left. These are jobs that have not yet been assigned to a technician. You can simply drag and drop these into the appropriate technician and time slot to schedule the job.
Also in the Unallocated Jobs column, the daily notes will display immediately above the Add Booking button - you can hover the mouse over the notes to see a larger/more detailed display of the daily notes.
You can right click into any time slot for any specific technician and choose to add a New Booking or add New Leave:

Weekly View
The Weekly View shows all jobs for the selected week, separated into individual columns for each day of the week.
Daily Capacity: At the very top of each days column the date, number of technicians available and a status bar showing the booked capacity is displayed
Under the capacity status bar you can also see the "% booked" value and total hours available for the day.
Daily Notes: Below the capacity details for each day is the Daily Notes for that day, if there are no notes it will show "Click to add notes" otherwise a preview of the days notes will display. Clicking here will pop up a screen to input a Daily Note for that day. Hovering the mouse over the notes will pop-up a more detailed display of the day's notes.
Bookings: Below the daily notes are the time-slots for the entire day, and all the specific jobs booked in to each time slot. You can easily drag and drop jobs from one day into the next.
Each specific booking will show the job number, any job tags assigned to the job, the customers name and vehicle details (such as rego, make/model etc)
In the top right of each booking is an icon with the initials of the technician assigned to the job, you can click this icon and select from your list of technicians to quickly reassign the job
Invoiced jobs can be easily spotted by the small "Invoiced" ribbon overlaying the job in the calendar view:
