✅ When to Print or Email Results

You can print or email inspection results in two situations:

  • After submitting an inspection (Pass or Fail)

  • From the inspection details screen in the Inspection List

Printing gives you a paper copy of the check sheet. Emailing provides customers with a digital record.


🔍 How to Access Print & Email

  • On the Pass confirmation screen (or Failed inspection summary), click the Print / Email button at the bottom right

  • A menu appears with two options: Print or Email


✅ Printing Results

  • Select Print from the menu

  • A print preview opens immediately in a new tab

  • The printout includes:

    • Vehicle details

    • Inspection result (Pass or Fail)

    • NZTA Authorisation Number and WOF expiry date (for passes)

    • All inspection sections and check statuses

    • Comments and measurements entered during the inspection


✅ Emailing Results

  • Select Email from the menu

  • The Send Email screen appears:

    • Enter the recipient’s email address

    • Review the subject and message

      • Dynamic placeholders like @CustomerFullName, @VehicleMake, and @OrganisationName will auto-fill details

    • Ensure Include Checksheet is ticked

  • Click Send to email the report

Note: Dynamic placeholders pull details from the inspection and your organisation settings.


🔍 Key Points to Remember

  • Print and email options are accessed through the Print / Email button, then selecting the option you need

  • Always confirm the customer’s email address before sending

  • The email includes the full check sheet and inspection result
