✅ When to Print or Email Results
You can print or email inspection results in two situations:
After submitting an inspection (Pass or Fail)
From the inspection details screen in the Inspection List
Printing gives you a paper copy of the check sheet. Emailing provides customers with a digital record.
🔍 How to Access Print & Email
On the Pass confirmation screen (or Failed inspection summary), click the Print / Email button at the bottom right
A menu appears with two options: Print or Email
✅ Printing Results
Select Print from the menu
A print preview opens immediately in a new tab
The printout includes:
Vehicle details
Inspection result (Pass or Fail)
NZTA Authorisation Number and WOF expiry date (for passes)
All inspection sections and check statuses
Comments and measurements entered during the inspection
Reasons for Failure – A summary of all items that caused the vehicle to fail the inspection. Where the checksheet is for a recheck, items that failed on the original inspection but passed on the recheck are displayed with a strikethrough, providing a clear record of what was rectified:
✅ Emailing Results
Select Email from the menu
The Send Email screen appears:
Enter the recipient’s email address
Review the subject and message
Dynamic placeholders like
@CustomerFullName,@VehicleMake, and@OrganisationNamewill auto-fill details
Ensure Include Checksheet is ticked
Click Send to email the report
Note: Dynamic placeholders pull details from the inspection and your organisation settings.

Print and email options are accessed through the Print / Email button, then selecting the option you need
Always confirm the customer’s email address before sending
The email includes the full check sheet and inspection result
