✅ SmartCheck Pro Overview (eWOF)

Electronic WOF checksheets and vehicle inspections - as a standalone solution or integrated with Auxo Workshop.

📝 Important Notes:

  • SmartCheck Pro is available to New Zealand customers only, as the product is built around New Zealand's Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspection process.

  • SmartCheck Pro operates in non-VIC integrated mode by default. This means inspection results are not submitted electronically to NZTA. Inspectors log in to NZTA's VIC platform separately and enter the result and WOF label manually.

  • VIC integrated mode submits results directly to NZTA's VIC platform, removing the need for manual double entry and reducing inspection time by 5 to 7 minutes per vehicle. VIC (WOF Online) submission is available to Auxo Workshop Pro (and above) customers with the SmartCheck Pro add-on. It isn't available on an Auxo Workshop or SmartCheck Pro trial, and isn't yet available on SmartCheck Pro Standalone, which is still subject to further NZTA testing and approval.

📘 Note: Throughout this Help Centre, non-VIC integrated refers to the manual process, and VIC integrated refers to full NZTA VIC platform submission.

What is SmartCheck Pro?

SmartCheck Pro is a digital Warrant of Fitness (WoF) check sheet designed to streamline compliance and improve workshop efficiency. It replaces manual paper-based checks with a secure, integrated process that works either as a standalone solution or within Auxo Workshop.

Why use SmartCheck Pro?

Go Paperless – Replace paper based WOF Inspection sheets with Electronic Checksheets and inspection reports

Improve accuracy – No more hard to read, handwritten checksheets, with a fully digital online inspection process with electronic checksheets.
Stay compliant – Built to meet NZTA standards
Professional output – Print or email branded inspection reports for customers

**Further efficiencies are available with VIC Online mode, including VIN number validation, odometer checks, automated warnings, and no manual double entry of results into the VIC online platform, for accounts with VIC integration enabled.
