The MS authority number has not been configured in SmartCheck Pro Settings > Configuration. Click the word 'here' in the error message to be redirected to the configuration page to enter your MS Authority Number.

This message prevents the current inspection from being submitted (submit button greyed out). In order to proceed you must be logged in a Staff Member that is set up as an inspector with a valid Inspector No.

This is shown when the Smartcheck Pro is unable to connect to NZTA's VIC platform. A WOF Label number can be entered, and once saved the WOF Label field will be read only (greyed out). This check will be considered unsubmitted, you can click the submit button once the connection to VIC is operational.

This error is relatively self-explanatory, it indicates the value you have searched for is not valid. The additional text in the alert will provide further context on the search terms that are invalid, for example "To search for Rego, enter the registration number (up to 6 characters)." or "To search for VIN, enter the VIN number (17 characters)."

The currently logged in inspector is not authorised to perform a WOF inspection on the 'inspection group' the vehicle in the current inspection belongs to.

This error will provide extra contextual information, as supplied from VIC, informing you of the reason this vehicle is banned.

This message will provide detail regarding the type of inspection sticker currently assigned to the vehicle.

This message will display if the odometer reading is higher than expected, based on the last completed inspection recorded in VIC.

This message will display if the odometer reading is less than the last completed inspection recorded in VIC. This should be a prompt to check validity of the odometer reading.
